Abby is a 7 yr old grade buckskin mare that stands right at 15 hands and is pretty to look at! She rides very well and has been on many many trails rides in big timbers with big groups of riders, Crosses creeks, over logs and is good on roads with traffic. Abby also rides very well in the arena, lopes pretty circles and wants to stop hard, she open/ closes gates ,side passes, pivots and is good with the arena toys, Abby would make a great 4H horse or to do ranch/trail classes or some fun shows and perfect to go trail ride, She has a one hand neck rein and is very soft in the bridle, Abby is very forgiving and will take a lot from the rider, She is good with the farrier, loads very well and is also good with other horses. She has had a few months off and rides off the same when you get back on her. Abby is a great family horse and anyone will love her!
Tulsa has been our go-to using gelding for the past 13 months, he is everyone’s favorite and is as solid, consistent, and no drama as they come. When the 1883 stunt crew was in town…they borrowed Tulsa for a couple nights out on the town, and did a ton of stunts off of him up and down the street…and picked up partiers on him, at one point we found him with one man in the saddle, one on his hip…and another girl standing on his hip…walking down the streets. He is a saint and will literally tolerate just about anything you throw at him. A friend of ours was short head horses during his busiest season, and Tulsa got borrowed out and used for 60 days to turn pen after pen of steers daily for the heel horses, and he will literally go all-day with zero complaints. You can leave him turned out all month, then go grab him out of the pasture and use him all day. He is about as low maintenance and easy as they come. Most of Tulsa’s life has been an outside using horse, he is a solid outside using horse, has been to countless sortings and brandings and has doctored out in the wide open. He has mostly been used here in Texas and Oklahoma, but has also been to Florida in the marsh land. He is gritty and will go for days with no complaints. He has also ran barrels as a back-up horse before, and we used him in the local match horse races this past fall. Tulsa has absolutely no vices or bad habits and is always perfect to walk out and catch and saddle anywhere. He is an easy keeper, always been wormed, shod, and has his teeth done on a regular schedule. He will stand quietly anywhere for hours, hops right on the trail when you point him at the door, gets along with any other horses, is happy kept in the barn or turned out, dead quiet to saddle, great for the farrier and to pick his feet, loads in the wash rack every-time, drops his head to have his head hosed off, great about his ears, easy to bridle. This gelding is the one we wish we had 10 of at all times!
